Daddy/Daughter time

I am a few days late, however I wanted to dedicate a blog to Alex and Emersyn. She is so in love with her daddy and he is wrapped around her little finger. The two loves of my life:

Potato-Po-tah-toe Ma-Ba

Emersyn’s name for me is Baa Baa. She will call out Baa Baa with her arms outstreached when she wants to be picked up or if she is not happy. She sits and watches my mouth carefully as I say “MaMa” and then she blurts out “BaaBaa”. In the girl’s defense, “Ma” and “Baa” do have the same mouth shape, so in her mind she is saying the same thing. She replies to me when I talk to her with “Baa” or “BaaBaa” In fact the conversation in the car yesterday went:

Me: “Emersyn” (said in a sing-songy voice)

E: “Baa Baa” (replied in a sing-songy voice)

Me: “Emersyn”

E: “Baa Baa”

This went on the whole drive to daycare. I am not sure when she will figure out how to say “MaMa” of if she will but until that time, I am BaaBaa and you know what? I am totally ok with that.

Just call me the BABAMAMA J

Stand tall

Miss Emersyn is officially standing. She will crawl over and pull herself up onto her hands and feet, supporting herself on her bouncer or someone's legs and then... she pushes herself up to a standing position. She can only hold it for 5-6 seconds but it is start. She is getting SO big!!!!

I bet the bouncer would help me stand up... 

I'm just going to use it to start the process

Oh... I made it I am standing up

 And I can even suck on my hands up here

 Whoops... lost my balance



Little Miss Neglectful

So I have been really bad about posting on my blog lately, I will try to write all about my trip back to see family tonight and post pics. With the trip and a baby who has been teething and was NOT happy.... well, the blog was put on the back burner. So dear blog stalkers and fans... I am sorry. I will be posting soon for all of you.
